So, I just thought of something, which was triggered by one of Terra's memes. What if Voldemort's mother had lived? Would he have turned out to be the evil loveless villain he became? Let's forget, for the moment, that he is actually a fictional character who essentially needed to be evil and loveless. Voldemort never understood the power of love. He despised his father for abandoning him (which led, I think, to his hatred for muggles and muggle-borns) and he despised his mother for dying because she left him alone in a world where he was not loved. What if Merope lived, and was able to love Tom as her son, despite having been denied love herself? Would he have loved her back? Would she have been able to raise him to be a good man? Or would Tom have been a bad kid who turned into an evil tyrant regardless of whether his mother lived (and loved)? I'm really interested in feedback, so let me know what you think!

...just watching a show. Lids are droopy, but I'm not really tired. Have some homework to do, but I'll do it in a little bit. School's going as only school can go. So...not much there.

I'm reading this Nora Roberts smut book about vampires, and Irish legend...it's cool only because it has the vampire/Irish legend thing going for it. That's the only reason why I'm bothering to read it. Honest! I hate smut! But it's entertaining...
